Contact the Indie Ocean

YouTube: The most active incarnation of the Indie Ocean is the YouTube channel where I review and Let’s Play things for fun.

Email: If you have questions, feedback, review requests or anything else (except maybe your amazing new idea for a vacuum cleaner that also delivers babies), feel free to email the Indie Ocean.

Review copies: The vast majority of the games reviewed here were purchased in full. The Indie Ocean doesn’t solicit review copies because that feels kind of sleazy, but if one is offered freely and I feel I have the time/inclination to give the game a fair shake, I’ll usually accept – unless I was already intending to buy it anyway.

I don’t want to deprive anyone of a sale or waste their limited supply of review copies, so if I already wanted to buy the game for myself or I immediately think I won’t like it, I’ll politely refuse the code. I will never be offended by the offer, though, so go ahead!

Social media: I’m most active on Twitter, though there’s also a Facebook page.

We’ve just released a game on XBLIG and was wondering of you would like to review it (please)
It’s a bullet hell shooter influenced by donpachi and other Japanese shooters.
    Our website has more info.
You can find a trailer here

If you want a promo code just drop me a message on facebook.

    • Hi,

I’ve been playing the demo and I actually intend to buy the game later today anyway. It’s generous of you to offer a promo code, but I generally don’t accept codes for games I planned to buy anyway. I don’t want to deprive anyone of a definite sale.

I’ll be happy to review the game once I’ve had chance to play it some more. Anticpate the review to go live on The Indie Ocean either over the weekend or early next week.

      Thanks again for making contact.

  3. Hi,
Our game has just gone live on XBLIG. It’s called Block Slam and it’s a block-busting game based on the original Breakout theme but done in 3D with complete freedom of movement, so it plays a bit like a shooter. We’d be very grateful for a review, more info and video are at
    Many thanks.

My Game “Divided” has been up on the XBLIG store for a few months now, Divided made it into the final of the Dream.Build.Play competition in 2012. Its a unique take on a 2D platformer.

I have loads of codes, so a code for you would be no problem at all.

    Hello there!

Would you be interested in reviewing the game called Santa Slay? I just published it on xbox 360 and would love to get critical analysis of the game. While the graphics and sounds are simple, the gameplay is challenging and exciting.

    Here is the xbox link:

    Thank you for your time,
